Budget 2008 introduced the new "Tax Free Savings Account". Starting in 2009, Canadians will now be able to contribute up to $5,000 annually to a “TFSA”. The funds within the account will be allowed to grow tax free and will not be subject to tax upon withdrawal. Do you believe this new program will encourage families to save for the future?
